So...in addition to your shirts, you're letting models wear your hats now, too, huh? I suppose if I want to keep up with you, I'll have to buy a hat or two.

But it looks as if the hat is being put to good use. After all, it is getting to be summer time and temperatures are climbing. We wouldn't want overheating or sunburn to occur, now would we?

As far as a critique goes, I like the composition as a whole, but I'd like to see a bit more contrast in the hat.

I should tell you that I would give any model any item of clothes of mine that they want to wear. Interestingly the model in the last image of mine you commented on (photo_id=9027949) was wearing an item of my clothing too. She was also using a pair of my socks but she wasn't exactly wearing them.

It is interesting that you should mention the contrast in this image. There was similar image to this on here before. It was in colour. That particular image was removed in the great cull of whatever year it was. It was these deletions that caused Owen to leave the site. The image in question can still be seen on photopoints. Before uploading this I upped the contrast to make it less blatant. I didn't think the original image was too blatant. There are certainly more blatant images on this site.

Thanks a lot!

I really do not understand all the morons rating a 3 or 4 anonymously. They must be jealous or so.

It is great photograph, a grat composition, full of erotism, but with a real good artistic taste.

I like the idea, the light and the composition. Very good work. I did not rate (I like PN but this rating system...). Regards, Stamoulis.

I love it David as I did the first version. I do say that I have to agree with Jim about the contrast but it is still wonderful.

Ah yes, the great cull. Every time I start to send an image to PN it comes to mind.

-Cheers mate.

Stamoulis, Thanks for the comment. I am glad you like it. Please don't worry about ratings. It is comments and critiques that I am after.

Jacek, Thanks a lot. It's a simple idea.

Owen, The original version was slightly different to this one (if I remember correctly.) Certainly the original was in colour. The fact that the contrast 'bothers' you as well as Jim is a little disconcerting. Honestly, I don't see it. This could be because I know what the hat looks like.

I didn't mean to infer that the contrast bothered me. It's just a noticeable difference to me from your more recent black and white work...I've gotten used to seeing a bit more "punch" in your b&w work.

Here's a poor attempt to bump up the contrast a bit on the hat (forgive me for fooling with your photo!). To me, the somewhat brighter contrast on the hat reinforces the idea that the sun (or light) might be brighter and that the hat is really providing some shade.

I get your meaning now. I really didn't before. I am humbled that you should take time to work on the photo. Having said that if I had understood you in the first place you might not have had to bother. Your treatment of the image does give the impression of sunlight. Unfortunately this was taken indoors and there was no sunlight that day... as far as I can remember anyway!

Thanks a lot.
