floris2 0 Posted April 29, 2009 Interesting scene, not too often we see trees in front of waterfalls! I like the combination of the two here, gives a nice sense of the place. Link to comment

Matthew Brennan 3 Posted May 1, 2009 Clever use of vertical elements - very complimentary toward one another with gorgeous illumination. A true delight to view. Link to comment
jgalyon 0 Posted May 2, 2009 Glad that you folks like the picture! I like Jay Maisel's philosophy about composition...when he says, "We (photographers) don't compose a picture. We just frame it." In the case of this shot...it was just "there". You couldn't escape the scene if you tried. So, not nearly so much credit to the photographer as to the Creator! Link to comment
nadya r. 0 Posted June 15, 2009 Also there are several trees on the photo! lol The water is loud and the trees are bringing to the photo more stability and give the protection. Link to comment
frogpondstudio 0 Posted June 25, 2009 Hi John, I just came across this photo. Nice comp and lighting. I just think that it is a little too green for me. I hope that you don't mind that I tried tweaking the colors a little. Let me know if you like it or not. Nice spot. cher.. Link to comment

Wayne Sadler 554 Posted August 4, 2009 John, Not sure if I were standing at the very spot I would have recognized the meritsof this image. Maybe you visualize, incubate and create all at the same time. Excellent work. Link to comment
jrickert 0 Posted October 20, 2010 You are brave, John: being a color-blind photographer. Although I prefer colors in the photograph that was added later, I like the softness of this photo and the moss-green colors. They look more natural. Link to comment
