Many others do not like any extension of expression beyond the imagerecorded by the camera.

I like the creation very much...including the frame. I must be sporting a little blindness here because I don't understand the significance of the frame, as stated by you, in the overall composition? Could you expand a little on your thinking ?(send me an e-mail if you want to do it privately)

It seemed to me that IF the image, or the `artifact' were truly of great historic significance there would certainly be an ornate frame or display case.

This would be More than a picture...
