carlwakefield 0 Posted May 1, 2009 Pierre this is also very good. I think your talents shine with digital alterations and you should really market them more. Top stuff. Regards Carl Link to comment
aarkp 2 Posted August 28, 2010 of the three versions (that i have seen) i like this the best... the flower looks realistically itself in 'Just A Sunflower' with wonderful delineation, but the backdrop (a flat pale blue sky and the unseemly dark mass of the defocused tree) is quite unappealing... here, the flower has its natural beauty and delicacy, while the background is well 'masked' -- this original interpretation is in fact marvelous! randallfarhy 0 Posted May 17, 2011 Pierre-what an intriguing image. The position of the sun tends to make make it feel like a desert image, but it's not. Also, the qulity of light on the face of the image is contradictory to the light source-yet it works exceptionally well in term sof color, tone and range. The blue of the sky is complimentary, and the intermittent texture (sky) keeps it from being bland-all details a painter would have more control over-really well done- Randall Link to comment
