I think this one could be a fine b/w one: it seems it has the right amount of drama and tones. Compositionally speaking, imho, it would be interesting to see a tighter cropped version. Thank you for sharing, Giuseppe

Converting this to B&W had crossed my mind but I thought the reddish tones of the damaged trees were contributory.

Now seeing two far more experienced photographers suggesting the same changes, I have revisited the original and I have replaced the photo with the revised one.

(Everything will be fine only after PN cache is refreshed).

I have to disagree with my two esteemed friends although I have to recognize that they are extraordinary photographers with unique individual vision. I like the original color version because of the way that my mind works (oddly, I know). I see these two as a couple, tourists from the countryside on their fist visit to the big city. The original picture serves that interpretation better in my estimation.
