How'd I do here? There are some obvious technical misfires but the over-

all vibe? Thoughts?

My firm conviction is that an image should tell a story, clearly, succinctly, and with all supporting elements aligned in the same direction to make the image a strong one. The first thing I notice here is that the picture is strongly tipped to one side. Why? What is the message? Someone is drunk? An earthquake is happening? We are on a boat and it is pitching badly back and forth? The poor woman can't efficiently change clothing because of one of the above? Maybe the viewer is supposed to be drunk.

Because the model is not looking at me (the camera) but is looking to one side, there is someone else here. Why are the three of us together while the one is changing clothing? If she were looking at the camera ( me) I could suppose some sexual inuendo but she is looking at a third person. Maybe I am the photographer and she is looking at the wardrobe mistress. They are having a conversation. I am butting in.

The message is not clear.

The slip is around her lower legs because she's taking it off - the whole shoot was a prelude to the shoot in the bedroom and bath that came after and we were playing dress-up in my closet. I tried to keep the images kind of like snaps by cocking the angles a bit so as not have them look to static. I tend toward skewed angles in general and probably over-do it at times... just the way I look at life perhaps - rarely straight on! lol! There are other shots in this series where she's looking at the camera. This one she was looking over to my right and behind me at herself in a mirror there.

I think what i was hoping to convey is the sense of fun we women enjoy, trying on clothes, shoes ect and the closeness of the closet with all the trappings of feminine attire surrounding us... my low POV I felt would contribute to a voyeuristic perspective too.

But, hey, if you guys feel confused in viewing this image, then it's not working,..
