The streak in the sky is an aircraft making its approach to Owen Roberts Airport.

Nice work. the text on the top left is very distracting. the photo itself is very nice. very nice and effective composition. I like that you put the horizon in the middle which helps the calmness of the photo very much.

It is a wonderful capture, very wel composed with wonderful colours, light and mood. Perfect exposure too. What i dont like is the big title in the frame up left, and the sign in the frame/image down right. I feel thats distracting.

Best regards LKV.

Very nice photo. Color, lighting, composition and subject are fantastic. The streak in the sky is an interesting part of the shot that I like. I tend to agree with others that the text at the top detracts. The bottom border and signature give this a feeling of art that one might find on an office wall. Even leaving the top black border on its own seems appealing and adds balance. Very nicely done.

Very nice. I like the texture of the water resulting from the 30sec exposure. How did you freeze the fishermen for such a long exposure?

Ahem. Our two fishing friends are sharp thanks to a little Photoshop tweaking (brought in from an earlier shot with a shorter exposure).

Thanks for your comments everyone. The border and title seem to be common dislikes. I add these to every pic I post here, mainly in an effort to create a consistent look to my work – a "brand" if you like. However I'm still weighing up the pros and cons, and perhaps will end up axing them.

Regards

Chris
