a street shot that combines everything. If the story can be told without a wide angle lens then you have it. Although there is a feeling that the photo is cropped the photo stands good by itself. There is a big talk about capturing homeless and poor people so to take more dramatic pictures and in some of the times I am on the side that sais dont grab the picture. You wouldnt like to be on his position and someone to just make a click and have you on the internet. On the other side many journalistic shots are taken in that way so to pass the message of a crisis or a situation to the other side of the planet or even wall!

The special about this photo is (IMO) the standing leg in his mouth. It's not his situation, its not the bike that brings an air of a 50's photo neither the magazines of the street seller.

His face his attitude and the general whole expression is a very good portrait on its own.

But again its on the perfect spot in a street photo! Hmmm a very good photo to wonder if its good or not ;-)
