steve_patterson 0 Posted April 30, 2009 Thanks for the comments...much appreciated The images are painted on the walls of a house in Pompeii, Italy, and date back to around 79 AD, when the city was destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius and buried in 20 feet of ash, thus preserving it.
