Very colorful and well composed. Look's like nature's version of a satellite dish or something.

Hello Richard. What a terrific image here. Full of rich and vibrant color. The depth of field is spot-on in my opinion. Tack-sharp right where it needs to be. Cheers, Gary in Salt Lake City.

Fabulous image - Many of us (including me) that did not rate 'anon', unfortunately it is sitting at 4.25/4.50 but that is a choice we make. I personally find having to enter the security letters every few minutes a challenge on my tired eyes. Will try and get to anon rating on future images of yours. Best regards,

Thank you again for the very nice comments on this image. This is from a desert garden that is maintained in Las Vegas by the Ethel M chocolate company. We were a little early for cactus blooms and this was the only one in the garden with flowers in full bloom. I had my "walk around" zoom on my D300 and took several shots from varying angles and using varying DOF. This was my favorite. I am very pleased that I'm not the only one that is happy with this image. There is so much beauty in the southwest...so different from our northern climate and vegetation. It was such a pleasure to be there and to view all of the surroundings. I'm anxious to return.

Best regards!

Dick
