Just excellent, Monte! This is one of my favorites of yours. I love the angle, the colors and the way you captured the feathers splayed out so beautifully! Superb!

Best regards,

Another excellent shot Monte,

I have seen these guys hide in the rocks and then dive down on the sand, not sure what they are after. I think the rock works in this shot as it's a part of the habitat but I'd recolor the white strip on the top blue and merge it with the rest of BG, it's a bit distracting from the bird. Excellent detail and pose, congrats.

Say Monte! You're really gettin' the hang of this!! The signature of the Peregine...the sharp dive!! Beautifully caught here and with your signature too...exquisite focus!!

Fabulous capture here Monte. Perfect lighting; perfectly out of focus background with nice color contrast; tack-sharp; great detail; eye-pleasing composition. Regards, Gary

Eric, it was just after take off. She looked like she was going to make a move, so I raised camera and fired as she took off. Usually this would be a tripod shot, but got lucky on this one.

So unique and beautiful! You captured a perfect moment. Just my opinion, the rock is a bit distracting from the bird. Stunning shot. Best regards, Linh Dinh

Did you photograph this while rock climbing? Very unique pose, I like the wing pose and fanned out tail feathers. Excellent work as always.
