Guest Guest Posted April 14, 2009 Amazing light my friend, so much of drama into a beautiful floral, I like the contrast here and how the white stand against the black background, well seen, well taken and well presented. Wishing you all of the best my friend. Link to comment
Alx 0 Posted April 21, 2009 Very beautiful image but I think too much croped. Ciao, Alx Link to comment
zambaras 0 Posted April 27, 2009 I rarely ever rate photos of flowers, macro or otherwise - perhaps because my firm predisposition is that it is too easy to come up with a nice picture of a flower - especially with the modern DSLRs, there is limited flexibility in terms of an original composition, and so on. Ok, I am exaggerating a bit but you know what I mean..But then, once in a while, I stumble upon a shot like this one and I admit that I may be wrong. This a beautiful, well thought out and executed, originally composed shot, both artistic and aesthetically pleasing. Very well done, indeed! Best, Nassos Link to comment

tomadakis 0 Posted April 28, 2009 Alex, thank you, I see your point, circumstances did not allow further composition, other branches came into the frame... Link to comment
tomadakis 0 Posted April 28, 2009 Maurizio, Like firework!...You are right on target my friend. A small explosion of white in between the almost dead grassy vegetation. A surprise of nature... Ciao! Link to comment

chris_panagiotidis 0 Posted May 16, 2009 I see in this submission, a hymn to beauty. I never was keen in recording famine poverty, misery ,for reasons I cannot yet explain satisfactorily.(but yet I am second to none in emotions provoked by seeing photos of the aforementioned situations) Natural, unposed , beauties like this one, presented the way you did it , strike me and alert my aesthetic sensors. In a few words: Like it a lot, I don't mind the smallest bit the technicalities involved -who am I to judge? Have a great day , Antoni! Link to comment

photis santamouris 23 Posted May 25, 2009 There is a certain feeling of sadness here. The image evokes sentiments like in a pre storm situation ,where the presence of nature's strength creates a fear for what's next. Link to comment

tomadakis 0 Posted June 12, 2009 Photi, the sadness was definitely prevalent that day. The dark clouds were low above us. This armed knight appears to be tough but in reality is a very delicate creation of nature. The pedals are soft and one by one turn down within a couple of days. Like all beauty in this world that has seen better days. Another phase of life. Link to comment
