rarmstrong 0 Posted April 15, 2009 A beautifully dramatic composition, Simon! Impressive creative view and black and white conversion of a scene that many would pass off as mundane. Well done! Best regards, Dick Link to comment

dallalb 0 Posted April 17, 2009 This is a very dramatic shot, in a high contrast situation. I love the visual guidelines provided by the fields (I have some examples in my portfolio, too).I think the toned B&W is perfect to convey your message here. And I really enjoy the blurring effect you got in the sky with the 10 stop ND filter: it seems that the clouds are generated by the factory chimney :-)As usual a great "strong" shot! All the best, Alberto. dougie 0 Posted April 18, 2009 I love the way the long exposure has softened the cement plant and enhances the rows across the field. Powerful and dramatic monochrome conversion. Fine work as ever Simon. Dougie Link to comment
hus 0 Posted April 18, 2009 Great lead in lines and exposure, the choice of bw made the picture very dramatic. i couldnt rate it 7 so I didnt rate at all. Link to comment
davidclapp 0 Posted April 18, 2009 As much as I love the composition and the plume of the smoke from the chimney, I feel the 10stop has overdone the cloud drag and made it all a little too messy. I guess its because the wind is too light, some serious streaks would have been far more appealing. The lead in lines and side lighthing work beautifully none the less. Keep rockin Simon, I am loving your last few shots in particular. Link to comment
llgarcia 1 Posted April 20, 2009 Ah! lines. So superbly done. Excellent landscape, as usual. Link to comment

timzeipekis 5 Posted April 27, 2009 I love the motion of the sky speeding by and the dramatic dark shadows leading into the shot are awesome. The contrasting textures of ground and sky really puts it over the top! Link to comment
