Thank you! A little background. This is one of 3 pieces that I am submitting to a sci-fi themed art show. I always like to test the waters before sending stuff out there.

Tiff, Thanks for the background...I think that helps me put this image in to context. I must admit though that I find this extremely creepy...definitely reminicent of some weird nightmare. Technically speaking I think you've done a nice job combining the elements...your PPing skills and creativity are soaring.

Thank you Jeff. Considering where you are, I would consider your view of this as nightmarish, quite a compliment. Kite Runner is definitely one of my top fave movies. The transition of Afghanistan's incredible, colorful landscape to the hostile and gray place that it became after the Taliban took control is to me, the epitome of nightmare. The background to this pic is actually a landmark site in Wyoming. It is one of the first Pony Express runs. It gives me comfort to know that whatever my PS program does to this piece of land, it still remains wild and beautiful (unless developers poison it). My prayers to you and my hopes that you can help restore some color to Afghanistan...and of course, for your safe return and celebration with your family.
