Perhaps you just explained that the offer of $1000 for modeling was a misprint in your communication and that actually she was only earning $10. You have used very effective placement of elements - her eyes are in a compositionally strong position; the use of a horizontal format and close facial crop works well and I like the dark negative space on the left balancing her face. You have violated the old rule about placing more space on the side her eyes look toward, but here I think violating the rule helps the emotional content of the story.
