gsphotoguy 3 Posted April 21, 2009 Here is another of the photographs I made of Erika at a Glamour101 Workshop. A few people have asked me how I got this level of intimacy in a workshop situation. I thought I would explain. These workshops, for anyone who has never attended one, are group shooting sessions. They are workshops in that all of the photographers use this as an opportunity to learn and add to their portfolios. I, for instance, have only been photographing nudes since I attended my first of these workshops last November. Erika was a last minute addition to a workshop where several models had to cancel at the last minute. When she arrived most of the photographers were working with other models. I was between areas and took her to this sofa in direct sunlight. I went through a roll of film before others joined us. When the photographers cooperate and call out to the model you can generally get what you want, even when there are several shooting the same one. Especially the regulars wait patiently and can get quite a lot out of the subjects. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted April 21, 2009 I have seen a similar photograph of this model from you before. I will say again what I say then. It would be very difficult to take a bad picture of her. She has an absolute charm when looking at the camera. Please don't think I am taking anything away from you. Link to comment
aka deb 0 Posted April 22, 2009 I agree, she has a connection to the camera that is intimate and revealing. She is a lovely model and you captured her sensual mood perfectly! aka deb Link to comment
