Richard I see that you are using your sigma 10-20 mm on this - I need to get glass like that. I was close to acquiring the Sigma 10-20 and then the Tokina 11-16mm has come into the picture. If you know of a place that compares these two it would be appreciated. Oops - re this image it is technically superb. Just my sense of aesthetic values favor early morning or late afternoon light. I know with a busy schedule like yours, this is not always possible. So a fine shot.

Awesome shot, Dicky. The inclusion of the dried trees? on the bottom right are perfect in this composition. Another awesome photograph, my friend. Regards, Lawrence.

Thank you Tony and Lawrence!

Tony, the Sigma 10-20 is a very sharp lens and I really enjoy using it. It takes some getting used to because of the significant distortion of ultrawide lenses. I would like to have lens correction software(such as DXO OpticsPro 5) but I haven't purchased it yet because I couldn't get the lens correction modules to work on their free demo. Sigma also just released a constant f3.5 version of the 10-20 which may interest you. A lot of people also like the Tokina. Anyway, it's a lot of fun and opens up many more creative possibilities.

I hope you both have a good Easter!

Thank you, Tony, Vicente, Tim and Jean-Marc!

Yes, we escaped the Michigan snow and went to Las Vegas for a week during my daughter's Spring break. Then, at the end of our hike in the Red Rock Canyon...it snowed...hard, for about 30 minutes, and it was freezing!

Best regards,

Dick
