Beautiful composition and a well thought out idea with excellent lighting. If I might suggest you work on the background just a bit, either more light in the initial exposure or edit to remove the light smudges of color, since I'm assuming you wanted a white background. I know its not smudges on my monitor as I have moved the image about to check. .....Sherle

Thanks. I have fixed those smudgy marks (careless) but I'm not sure how to update this version so I'll leave it for now.

In it's individual style this photo made me remember a movie 'Prospero's Books' by Peter Greenaway which have the same approach: characters engraved on human bodies.
