I like this very much.

Added later: The hand prints tell the story of hard work, sweat, grime into the development of muscles and beauty of these dancers and what they portray. Beauty is intensified when accented with slight imperfections such as mirror seams, hand prints, etc. because they contrast with the sublime -- giving depth and increasing appreciation for the whole. I love all the glass as well and the dance told with hands -- like guidance. I love studios, and you convey the excitement of artistic hard work and growth, which I love sometimes more than a finished product because in it are wells of potential

A surprising picture; my first thought was that it reminded me of a Hindu God. It really is quite delightful. I wonder how it would look in b&w.

I liked the look of the fingerprints on the glass (perhaps) between you and the dancers.

The marks look like something thrown to the air and add a further dimension to the photo.

We see the dancers and the arms separately on opposite sides.

This forces us to connect them mentally.

So, the viewer has to be involved!

this is a perfect frame. there is really nothing useless, so the photo arrives with all his strenght and meanings. sometimes, to judge a photo, i look at the perymetre, all around. to see if i miss something or if i see something i dont need. here is perfect. for my birthday will you try a bw conversion?

Donna, thanks for your added impression. Dance in formation, is a lot of work, like any creation that the way is important not less than the ended result. Rehearsals ,search, improvisation ,are all part of a very long hard work of body, imagination, trial and errors. changes ,till it is uploaded as a show on stage. It is a way for the choreographer and dancers, and for me as a photographer and part of the process.

Spencer, thanks for loving it and being here. Shalom my friend !

Jack, I'm glad you liked it, as the cropping I did will not touch every viewer. It reminds Hindo dancers , but only with the hands gesture not in the content. I tried it in B/W and did not like the result, I liked much more in color, as the color has a monochromatic tone..

Bulent, I'm glad you have observed the finger prints on the glass( yes it is a glass), as it adds one more dimension to the hands gesture. I'm glad that you as a viewer feels involved in it, this is wonderful. Thanks

Andrea, I appreciate that you invest time in observing the photo, which is what I'm doing to others as well. Happy Birthday to you. I tried it in B/W, and please read what I wrote to Jack.

Alberto, thanks for all your feedback, I appreciate it.

Pnina, I like it too.The hands do resemble Hindu and Buddhist 'mudras'.I am admiring the way you have cropped the image, focusing only on the language of hands and colour contrast. Very good light & exposure. Have you shot this image through glass, because I see finger prints?

Once again you've captured a beautiful moment. I find the fingerprints play off of the motion of the hand underneath very well, almost like they are "flying off" of her own fingers, and you've caught them suspended. Your composition (as it often is) is wonderfully unique. I find that while the dancer in the back may be the focal point from an optical standpoint, it's the unfocused elements that would otherwise be secondary in a photo that have become the focus visually. Beautifully done!
