carlwakefield 0 Posted April 28, 2009 Very good shot Kris. Super B/W conversion and good light. If you can get a second light source you could also try a backlight or hair light. This shot is super from exsposure. I feel its all a little tight in the frame I think its needs a little room to breath. I would back off a little bit. a touch of room in front of the knees and above the head would not be bad. Regards Carl Link to comment
jerrymat 3 Posted April 28, 2009 A beautiful subject, who looks wide-eyed at the photographer. A wonderful pose and expression. Unfortunately this is underexposed. Look at your histogram and you will see almost no tones on the right. The dark side of her face drops into the shadows and her hair does not show because of no light. The dark parts of the clothing are losing texture. Are you using jpeg or camera RAW? I strongly suggest the latter, where you can recover from problems of tonality. Regards, Jerry Link to comment
