I like the way you've shot through the foreground. With the reflections it makes the photo just a little disorienting, and consequently very engaging and interesting.

Beautiful!

Your comment is very much appreciated - I also like the colors. I took a few around this scene including one with an old tree trunk in the foreground but decided to test the waters with this one.

I never get tired of these Fall colours. Most people would have walked by this and not seen the image that you have created. Beautifully done!

Rich, brilliant "inn your face" colors that don't overwhelm, texture in the water that echoes the texture of the tree bark, vertical elements and a splash of red - perfect exposure that captures all the necessary shadow details without sacrificing the water colors. Excellent work. I'll see you anon, and am looking forward to seeing more of this series!

Beautiful image here Tony. Wouldn't be the same without the wonderful golden reflections setting off the foreground colors. Very striking. 7/6 anon. Regards, Gary

Thanks to everyone who took the time to visit - all comments and ratings are appreciated. It was a morning for a few photo ops like this as I walked along a slightly wooded area next to a river which does a complete left turn in about two hundred yards or so in the Rawdon area.

p.s.- Alaska Sunset was taken on Eklutna Lk. Rd. between Eagle River and Wasilla.

Your foreground frames the glistening water reflections so nicely. Very well done; makes me miss that short period in the year.....I can smell the leaves and pine needles now! Well done!(sorry ....couldn't rate the way I wanted....should have been a 7.
