I like it Tore. You have captured the sheen and texture of this jacket quite well. My only suggestion is that the jeans, however costly, do not seem to go that well with the silky look of the jacket. Perhaps leather would work as the jacket, but not the satiny black'red trim peeking out collar, against ho hum denim. Just a mild offering, for what it is worth. a nitpic for sure!..I am not against jeans, and have a pair on today. Model looks a bit too classy for jeans I submit, unless they would have a custom rhinestone embroidery on pockets. She is very nice by the way and good lighting as usual.And background is suitably mushy to give a 3-D appearance to the photo. Regards, gerry

Yes, this is a great portrait, very good lighting as usual. My only critics is on the back ground there are sooth distracting elements.

 

Thank you for your comments, After a winter in the studio, I think it's great that there are things in the environment again :)

 

The model is well illuminated and are much higher in lightvalue so I do not think the stones behind her disturb so much.

I was talking about some branches on the left. But it is just a minor thing. This is a great picture.

Excellent once again. I very much like the low key effect and the beautiful colouring that results.

 

How absurd to give a 3 for aesthetics .. someone was just commenting on that under one of my photos. They really should do away with this ridiculous rating system ..

Thanks John, I agree the rating system is not the best I have stopped care for the 3 without any comment and motivation.

I’m soo happy the spring is here now and I can do outdoor sessions again :)
