arash khoshghadam 0 Posted April 9, 2009 very powerful aesthetically and more so, since all the power of this shot is in the color contrast ( complementary color scheme between yellow-orange and the blue of the sky). the scattered clouds have made the sky a sight and the light condition you have chosen has augmented the greenish hue in the sea. The intersection of the straight horizon and the irregular outline of the rocks lead the eyes into the frame. you have made a good use of intense mid-day light ( something landscapers are wary about mostly picking the early hours or the late hours in the afternoon). Your image makes me move. something reminding me of the hot summer days and all the memories associated with it. thanks for sharing. Link to comment
stemked 4 Posted April 10, 2009 Lovely, but there seems to be a minor polarizer issue here. It looks to me that the right side of the sky is darker than the left. I suppose it could be natural. Still a very nice image Link to comment
