dgv 1 Posted April 8, 2009 Thank you Mario very much, it is a classic considering it was shot back in 1975. I wonder though how many people look at photos for more than a few seconds... Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted April 11, 2009 Splendid. Congrats ! So theatrical yet perfect: ballerinas are masters to this ! Link to comment
dgv 1 Posted April 12, 2009 Thank you very much for your inspiring comments my dear PN friends and yes as Florin said is a theatrical pose as ballerinas are trained to speak with their bodies. She is a retired ballerina and as she averts her eyes from the mirror which is normally an actors best friend she remembers her stage days. That particular ''light'' in her life is extinguished and the curtain is down. Her life as a dancer is not over though she is still wears a dancing outfit. Maureen was on stage with the Royal ballet at Covent Garden and she went on to Athens to teach. Link to comment
dandem 1 Posted April 12, 2009 Great tones, Dimi. Nice natural pose and facial expression. Well done, my freind. Regards, as always, Lawrence. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted April 14, 2009 Dimitris, I like as well her look, and it is well composed with a symbolic curtain on the R..... But many dancers, probably like her, are not dancing any more but are continuing to teach, or becoming choreographers. This is a nice B/W, and an added life story as well.. Link to comment
