This one is from my last visit to the LA zoo. I believe that since the color

of this big guy is mostly gray anyway it show better in Black & Withe.

The one thing I did in PS besides curves and enhancing contrast a bit

was darken the sorroundings to hide distracting poles and artifacts.

Great shot.......wonderful black and white...and great textures on this very 'textured creature'......looked in the mirror this morning and felt rather wrinkled, tired looking....I truly can't complain....but then again...this marvelous beast is in the Zoo! I have to walk among 'earthlings'........:-((.........sincerely...wonderful work...so glad you 'happened to find my photos'...yet your name sounds so familiar....I must have rated one or two...but did not REMEMBER to return...."got any Pics of Elephants'....re memory.......G
