the image is beautiful for what it conveys, and is made much more so by some graphical details that characterize the two figures, the stripes of the little girl's dress and the white "jacket" (sorry, I'm not a big expert of english dress-related lexicon) of the old lady. Their posture is full of love and care.

A little technical comment, I feel that it is perhaps a tad dark, I wonder whether some slgihtly brighter whites would add to it?

This elderly lady is a Russian immigrant. Learning new stuff at her age is not an easy task. But she studies English diligently. The driving force behind is her desire to communicate with her dear great grand daughter who speaks English only.
