ifti 0 Posted April 7, 2009 Innocence and kindness Well portrayed. Consider cropping a bit on the right side to make subject off center. Thanks for sharing. Link to comment
bradkim 8 Posted April 7, 2009 Thank you my friends for your kind visits and comments! I was fortunate enough to capture this moment when this young girl and her Great Grand Mother extended their mutual affection. Iftikhar, I exercised photographer's right to ignore all conventional rules... LOL.-)) Link to comment

acarodp 0 Posted April 9, 2009 Brad, the image is beautiful for what it conveys, and is made much more so by some graphical details that characterize the two figures, the stripes of the little girl's dress and the white "jacket" (sorry, I'm not a big expert of english dress-related lexicon) of the old lady. Their posture is full of love and care. A little technical comment, I feel that it is perhaps a tad dark, I wonder whether some slgihtly brighter whites would add to it? cheers! L. Link to comment
bradkim 8 Posted April 9, 2009 Thank you both for your visits and kind comments! This elderly lady is a Russian immigrant. Learning new stuff at her age is not an easy task. But she studies English diligently. The driving force behind is her desire to communicate with her dear great grand daughter who speaks English only. Link to comment
