Life as a dance .A metphorical use of what can be a human situation during a life time....Thanks for viewing.

Beautiful human form in light and shadow; the gossamer net feminizes her strength with delicate shimmer, the slight diagonal of her pose again softens, as the eye extends to warm light.

Pnina, a symbolic image, indeed. Your mastery over the medium and aesthetics , stimulates imaginations of viewers. Capture and unfolding of a memorable series on stage.

Pnina - this is filled with drama and I love the color of it as well... I also think it would make a striking BW as well. Beautiful detail.... nice work.

The balance and poise of the dancer is matched only by the balance and poise of your photograph. Simply put , this is one of your best! I am reminded of some my favourites from your ' Follow The Light ' series as a homage to Vermeer.

The tones and textures are so life-like while at the same time felling very painterly. The result is breathtakingly beautiful.

The d.o.f. is perfect. The veil and dancer are wonderfully sharp yet the foreground reflection and background details are soft and gentle , leaving the dancer somewhat suspended within a dream. The strong side lighting captures the veil, making it at once confining and revealing. The figure is contained but not concealed. I love the warmth of the tones and in particular the warm light from the upper right hand corner spilling down and over the stage floor. This same warm light balances so well with the brighter part of the woman's left leg.

I could go on and on, however suffice it to say , that this is another one of your photos which will end up hanging in a gallery. Pnina , congratulations on the culmination of your skills and dedication coming together in a single frame.

Beautiful light and wonderful composition, neat arching curves. Caught in the net but not giving up the struggle.

Best Regards, Tibi

Lovely composition with superb skin tones for the lighting conditions. One of your very best dance pictures, Pnina, and that is saying something.

Absolutely one of your best. The marvelous skin tones remind me of the homage to Vermeer series. Everything works--beauty, mystery, intrigue, lyricism.

Pnina

A very strong one. The composiiton but above all the light and color tone handling make this image a compelling one

It's always a joy to see a photographer who has put such thought and feeling into their work as you do, Pnina. This one is the result of many good decisions and a skillful technique. Lovely light and dof only go so far, I guess...the subject is the key. Very well done.

A beautifully produced and almost erotic image, Pnina. The symbolisn of enclosure and breakthrough is an enduring image and is a recurring theme throughout existence.

Almost erotic? Almost? :)

Dance is inherently erotic, and this image shows why. It also seems to show her reaching for the light, which I find very effective. The veil is perfectly rendered, with just the right amount of detail, and the skin tone is just right, considering the stage lighting.
