Put together two boys in a safe shopping street, with poppa looking on

from a discrete distance, and they engage in a little harmless

tomfoolery, all on a recent night. Your ratings and critiques are invited

and most welcome. If you rate harshly or very critically, please submit

a helpful and constructive comment; please share your superior

photographic knowledge to help improve my photography. Thanks!

Enjoy! John

This was taken with a camera with high ISO capabilities (A D300?), but not high enough for the foreground and to keep the photo sharp and from having too much noise.

What I saw in the viewfinder was SOOO charming.

What is depicted is only a fraction of what I saw.

(that's poppa in foreground, whose wonderful kids reflect well on him as a parent.)

He knew, understood and didn't mind what I was doing, and we talked about the process.  Some parents are paranoid about their kids, and that's mostly craxy (this is a huge, very public, outdoor mall in a more southern state (I want to go back, so I won't name it).

;~))

I always enjoy your comments, and when there are several, our colloquy.

Still a wonderful shot, John.  I hate to think of my discards because of exposure failures of one sort or another.  You pulled a very nice photo out of this situation, and only you would know what to measure it against.

Regrettably, yes, I knew how wonderful it was and with increased low ISO sensitivity for my sensor such as with a D700, D3 or D3s, I might have had wonderful captures that evening here; this is a regret, almost posted as an afterthought or in spite of what I thought it was worth.

I don't think it shows well, and if I had to trim my portfolio, this might go, unless there were an outcry.

But then, I'm only the photograher and only one in an audience that sometimes stretches into the millions so far as clicks would indicate and who am I to say what is 'worthy' to my followers and/or viewers.

It's their work as much as mine; I do it for me and for them (you included, and perhaps 'you' as much as any other person in the world).

And dear readers, you, and you, you, you, you, and you too.
