dacamera 0 Posted April 5, 2009 Hi Francisco & Ali. The illumination came from a variety of sources. There was a nuclear power station just behind me which was lit up like....well a nuclear power station! also a small pier which was providing a different coloured light to the lower concrete castings. These concrete things are huge with terrifying crevasses between them perhaps twenty or thirty feet deep. I was standing on one of them with my tripod, I had a very delicate climb back to terra firma in the dark when I had finished. You can just make out a huge beautifully lit factory on the left and a light house sticking up on the horizon. Simon Link to comment

dallalb 0 Posted April 8, 2009 Your shots are, are always, outstanding!I like this one very much and I understand the problems you got when taking this shot, but the result is beautiful also if this is not a "natural" landscape! The quality of this image is superb: it would be interesting if you could attach a little 100% crop to let us appreciate the high quality of your work...Congratulations, Alberto. Mine was captured on the 31th of March this year but I just uploaded it. Your insight would be much appreciated. Regards! Link to comment
robwilson 0 Posted April 26, 2009 This is outrageously good. Deeply unfair to the rest of us!!!! ;) Very well done indeed Simon, this is a truly lovely picture of something that, perhaps, shouldn't look so lovely. All the very best, Rob Link to comment
ian cameron 0 Posted May 29, 2009 wow truly a stunning image Simon one of my favourites of yours. I love the mix of colour temperatures from the different light sources and as someone has already mentioned an industrial looking landscape such as this has no business looking quite so edibly good..
