Maurizio; thank you...Hyder; -3/3 ratings- I'm just reading this(yours above) again. For rating I do not know what is the best bench mark for average. I tend to consider 4 as average but giving someone anything lower than 6 is taken as an insult. My system is but do not always hold by it is: 4 is average; 5 is good but would not draw attention; 6 has a chance to be accepted into a juried show or gallery and 7 has a chance for at least honorable mention. How to decide this is the problem. I found that a fair way is to step out of photo.net world; imagine that this submission is on the wall of a gallery I do not see why but it is a great photo and everyone is admiring it. The appearance of photographs in my eye improves when I do this. I guess what I am saying is I sometimes start from the top and work down. Finally, I tend not to rate/comment on people who rate me. That can get very complicated.

Right moment, and well done...; frightening to think this boy will be a soldier too someday...
