Marie; be sure to call me....Built by Ottoman sultan Suleiman the Magnificent it is one of eight gates in Jerusalem's Old City walls. Inside the Jaffa Gate is a small square between the Christian and Armenian Quarters It is one of the entrances to the Arab marketplace just inside the Jaffa Gate. The clock tower disappered about 1917.

Meir, very well captured expression and tones, very nice and interesting portrait. I notice you shoot here slightly above and not exactly parallel to face....for me it has a interesting flattering effect on the face of the subject.....regards
