ricardovaste 0 Posted March 31, 2009 I was testing a 'digital lith effect' technique that I stumbled along and came out with this image. I wasn't too sure of it at first, but am coming around to it... i think the low contrast look makes a change to a lot of black & white images I've seen of late. I atleast feel it could come in handy at some later date anyway. Your thoughts are welcome. Thank you for looking, Rich Link to comment
g c portraits 0 Posted March 31, 2009 Thanks a lot for your comments about my photo. you have a great collection and I am a impress with your technique to make old your photos. I take note about your sugestions and I try to make a better work in future. Best Regards GC Link to comment
chrisvest 1 Posted April 1, 2009 the textured edge is very well done, as is the limited palette. good contemplative model well placed in the frame. imagining an old hand-tinted image however, i think that the subject could use just a blush of color somewhere: the cheeks, the necklace? ricardovaste 0 Posted April 1, 2009 Glad to be of some help GC. This experiment wasn't really to make it look 'old' specifically, it was just an experiment with a few different techniques :). Glad you like it Chris. It's great to have an open mind look and think about one of my photos. I think your advise might work really well! I've got some work to do, but will try and re-process your suggestions - i'll let you know when I get it done. Thanks again, Rich Link to comment
