This script is one of the many diversified styles of Persian Calligraphy done is stone inlay [LAPIS] on the inside main enternace of Wazir Khan Mosque [17th Cent Moghal Mosque] in Lahore, Pakistan. It is most certainly one of the very few well preserved Moghal monuments in Pakistan. Almost every inch of the huge mosque and 4 giant minarets is covered in most intricate design and stone inlay unprecedented anywhere in the subcontinent! This form of Calligraphy is perhaps the most basic form yet very effective! This particular piece sings the praise of Prophet Muhammad! Regards!
