cherlyn 1 Posted March 30, 2009 I will be loading a few street shots, showing some street hawkers at work,This is a hawker selling "Fried mIlk" . Didn't know how they fried the milk to make into pieces like this, we tried and the taste is still not too bad. More like cheese. This "fried milk" is one of the 18 funny things in Yunnan: Milk sell in pieces. Link to comment

amalsircar 2 Posted April 1, 2009 Cherlyn, many thanks for introducing us to "Fried Milk" of China. I have not seen these at Singapore food-stall, although they sell all the food items of the world. I presume the staffing inside is made of fried milk, with an outer coating of something made with flour. We have such staff here, called 'pati sapta', but no sticks to hold the sweets like lollipops. These serial of street-shots in China is bound to be interesting and novel. Link to comment
