stemked 4 Posted March 29, 2009 While a catch-light in the might have helped the image the reflective skin of this female Small-Mouth Salamander dictated that I use available light.I did use a reflector but it didn't help too much. Fortunately it was pretty cold so she wasn't moving too much. Link to comment

stemked 4 Posted June 7, 2009 Thank you Tannik for your comment. I have become more and more interested in amphibians especially since the appearance of the chytrid fungi. It is basically wiping out a number of amphibians world wide. And yes, a fascinating animals. Link to comment
