Beautiful work!

Technically near perfect but I think a bit softer light or some more fill light from the right would make an improvement. Also, I would like to see the stem sharp from bottom to top. To be honest, I just about bypassed this image, but it drew me in for a closer look.Very nice!

@Paul: lacking sharpness of the stem at the top is indeed a shortcoming I noticed myself (yet only while postprocessing and I didn't dare to try any 'software sharpening' on that area).

The fill-light might be as well a good idea - but I fear it might flatten the stem - nevertheless it's worh a try.

Here's a quick & dirty 'software' improvement:

• I've tried sharpening the stems at the top and

used Nik Color Efex Reflector effects to simulate a reflector at the right
