Angel hair...?

Dear friends,

 

I have a strange sighting to report! I spotted a number of these in

the sky two days ago. While observing them, one slowly landed on the

ground and I managed to capture a picture with my cell phone.

 

The mass was translucent. I touched it with a stick and a few minutes

later it just disappeared. It was strange as it did not have any

texture to it, but when I moved to stick away it felt sticky.

 

UFO? Maybe! But certainly strange!!!

Tatjana; what is your best guess?

I don't have idea ....it was something very, very strange...It is not spider web, for sure...it is not ice....not styrofoam.....Maybe some kind of insulation material ...but very strange...it disappeared as soon as I touch it ...Very interesting... and I can say beautiful thing...what ever it is...

Meir you are biochemist ...maybe you can guess...I really like to know what is this...

...you should get in touch with some big media and make a few bucks out of it! If they publish and I think they sure will someone who knows what it was will emerge and you will satisfy your curiosity (and mine too)! I think it might have been some foam from some chemical factory or something like it!

Quite interesting capture, Tatjana. I have not idea of what could it be. Because it disappeared, I thought it could be as Pierre said, a foam from a chemical factory. The form and colors are really rare. Thanks for sharing this with us. Best regards!

I wish I could add some light to the situation but as I cannot I will comment on the image itself. First, I love the title - it captures interest imediatly. I like the apparent halo it seams to have all around it. Very interesting

Now why do you think it would float to earth near you??? And why does this not surprise me???
