GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted March 28, 2009 I've now named my Chipmunk.....I've gotten used to working on my photos of him. The light was beginning to wane in the woods, but there still was some left in the background.....I think he was getting used to me by this time...comments welcome, always....tnks..Gail Link to comment
pfranklin 0 Posted March 28, 2009 Sweet, like the soft background. It does look like he posed for you :) Best regards, Pamela Link to comment

GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted March 29, 2009 Thankyou B C and Jean.......I guess I really miss my dog......when you start nameing Chipmunks......watch out that you're not going 'Besereck'!!.....(a name my husband used to use while working and there was a 'full moon'....the cops usually would spend half their night at the hospital.....there were always a 'few' poor souls going 'crazy'.... cjtj50 0 Posted March 30, 2009 Hello Gail, Pack those little cheeks :). We have these little ones living in our old walls...soon to stay outside. 6/6a Take care Link to comment
GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted March 30, 2009 I hope they don't cause damage like the squirrels do where I live....they're so cute. In Wilmot Creek, where our home is, we live along the shores of Lake Ontario. We get a few Chipmunk....squirrels, birds.....other than that, there are 'wild foxes' that some of the 'older folk' kind of think it's cute to feed them......(not!)....walking along the bluffs we often see them....& once I was watering my front garden, and a rather 'brazen' old fella crossed in front of me on my driveway...crossed the road to some green space.....they get a little too tame when fed. Greg Pichnej, a friend, mentor, and fellow 'Netter' has some photos in his Portfolio of some young ones from last Spring....if you ever have time...take a look......they're so cute, and a 'hoot' at the same time!!! thanks for your visit and kind words.
