and - at the same time - a bit frightening. The focus is on the veil, and the beautiful blurred face has mistery, melancholy and tenderness. Like an angel waiting for his train. Giuseppe

There's something sad, almost mask-like in her look. This is a wonderful addition to your veil series.

Marjorie, Interesting feeling of yours.

Jeff, What is really interesting is the differences of feelings it evokes in the viewers. That net seconds are taking me, and the viewers, to wonderful impressions and places of human being. Thanks for yours.

Thanks Jeffrey, Tibi and Sonali, for your feedback

This evokes a lot of depth of feeling. The diagonal you have chosen is also most interesting. I suspect most of us would have turned it with the head going upper right. The position you have chosen adds to the sense of distress.

Could be a latest version of "Death of Ophelia", to be exhibited at the Tate Gallery, alongside the painting of John Everett Millais.Excellent cropping and tone.

Dave, Each of us has his way of presenting a photo, thanks for your nice comment. Hope you are well and resting now.

Amal, you really made me smile, I don't have a Tate Gallery inspiration....lol. There is something that may remind Ophelia though ..... Thanks

Pnina, something very sad and pensive in this expression, with the mood again enhanced by the veil. I like the image very much.

The sadness is so palpable that it reminds me of the Virgin's face in Pieta. It is a fascinated picture charged with emotions. Her eyes seem lost in the depths of her pain. The slanting perspective of the subject, highlighted by the triangular shade created by the veil, points downwards. In a way, it serves to visually reinforce the tragic theme of this well captured composition.
