You state that it is a make-up shoot ... then what the hell is it doing here in portraits .. should be in fashion. Pretty ordinary beauty light. I think the only real flaw here is the background which is not completely white. if you want to make it look really clean and pure the bg needs to be white. When shooting white bg hikey overexpose the bg by 2-3 stops.

Hey Juha, thanks a lot for the critique - I don't know much about lighting but my friend said he set the ratios like you mentioned so I think the flash didn't recycle fast enough for me on this.

I think it is a pretty good fashion shoot, captured in good details & exposure.
