When I look at the center section (bulging) towards me, I get chills running up and down my spine ! My thoughts being " is it going to give way soon ?"

it can happen any time, with a bang & a subsequent splash plus mini tsunami wave. Its ages old water, again delivered to the liquid flow & joining the hydrological cycle.
