IMO. If u can get rid of the half umbrella on the left side, it will make a good pic even better.

You caught the moment. I have to agree with Harold. That was my first thought when i seen this shot, get rid of the other umbrella. very nice shot. Jim.

Ray, I'm a sucker for NY rain shots, but this is one-in-a-million. I can think of a lot of famous photographers who would be proud to have this one in their portfolio.

Let me just comment here on your whole folder. I love your images and your technique great as well. Your shots and the moments you choose to display have a real vitality that captures Gotham City.

I've been off photo.net for a few years, but in reviewing all the photographers whose work I really like, I came back to you and this shot and can't believe I never commented on it. I agree with Beau, this is as good as the best street photographers. The circles in the water really make it.

Ray, I just came across this shot.  It's marvelous !!

Not sure how I missed this both when posted and as POW.  I prefer the b/w version (comments are closed on that post) but the image itself is street perfection; the anonymous pedestrian, the umbrella, raindrops and reflections, all in excellent motion.  It's really on par with HCBresson... Mike
