NIce detail and lighting. This looks like the drive wheels on a steam locomotive (train #3801?). I spent some time in the Virginia Transportation Museum, which is dedicated to trains, especially the old locomotives. The size of the wheels alone is impressive - the whole mechanical entity is very stirring to look at. I want to go back and take more detailed photos (had grandkids in tow when I was there....) You can easily understand how young boys 100 and more years ago dreamed of being train engineers! Anyway - a really excellent photograph!
