Tufted titmouse

Just starting to shoot birds and wildlife, am a little underequipped with a

300mm ,am cropping severely, just thought I would throw a couple out

there.

This is quite nice, actually. I like the softness. I might be tempted to PS out the red twig.

actually this is quite nice. you've kept a nicely intricate, yet out-of-focus background, which really adds to the interest -much better for me than a clear sky, for instance. regards, mmwhite.

This is really nice, the out of focus background and the detail of the bird is great.

thanks for the comments everyone, don't have photoshop only lightroom, this lens and tc combo is a tad soft and with cropping quality isn't all that great, hopefully with practice i will get better and can move away from the bird feeder!

Fantastic bird portrait.  Being picky it would be nice if the Titmouse wasn't on a branch cut like this, it's a touch distracting to an otherwise stunning natural pose.
