Rajat, details are clear and many diferent colors makes this image eye catching. Her smile projects aceptance of this moment. Great capture. Warm regards.

These photographs were taken on voluntary assignment for a local NGO

working with these families. The brief I received was to photograph them

in their natural surroundings and they did not want tear-jerking

photographs. It was a learning experience for me. In spite of their obvious

straitened means they are warm and hospitable. The children are smiling

and fun-loving, willing helpers in and out of the house.

 

This is not a posed, arranged scene. It just happened while I was their

guest.

 

No comments on the scene you see are really necessary. Rate and

critique the photograph...

I could repost the comment about the mother and her daughters, but of course it will be useless. I find that this kind of work you're doing is great and precious and for this I want to say you thank-you, for doing and sharing.

 

As GungaJim points out the idea of having just some pieces of mom hands to represent the whole figure (retorically: a synecdoche) is great.

PS: a shorter time would have killed the hand movement, spoiling the picture of its dynamism.
