Great picture, but personaly I find the heavy noice incompatible with the blue-dreamy atmosphere of the picture. I would denoice it. Just personal and honest opinion. ... Piet

Thanks for your thoughtful comment, Piet. I think the "noise" is due to the DOF, because I shot this with a longer lens. I have rescanned the original and I don't know if it makes much difference. In the printing process, it will soften up anyway. I am happy that the couple seem sharp and clear. Hopefully they will be the focus. But I love your "dream analogy. Thanks, again.

Hi, very nice and reminds me of Florida. Was this commisioned (sp?)? The "noise" was not apparent to me. I do not sharpen on my scanner because of noise if one means noise = grain

You seem like a fun kind of guy B.C., so why not just hop on a plane to Negril, Jamaica (actually we had to change to a smaller plane to get there from Montego Bay). The beach was quite deserted in the morning for this couple, except for a vendor or 2.

Tony, the revised version was de- noised, as suggested by Piet. I think it especially helped the sky. Glad you like it. I am glad the romantic angle is working for you, Marta. They were models, but they were also a real couple.

I never answered your question. I appreciate your comment and this was shot for stock, while I was in Jamaica on assignment for a hotel with the models. They were taking a break and signed releases for my personal shots.
