This is Rita, a favorite (lost) friend and model of mine, in a desaturated

version of a previous color posting, itself a favorite of mine. Please let

me know how it compares to the color version, if you care to compare --

Very difficult to "prefer" one or another. As he composition really is fantastic, both versions work very well.

Thing is they both evoke different feeleings, which is very interesting.

It's funny (peculiar) that with Rita's breasts, they do, in color and black and white, evoke different responses, and neither to me is a sexual one, though if you met Rita she oozes femininity from every pore, yet to me she is a 'friend' (now lost to me at least for present) but a friend nevertheless.

I don't think of her as a 'sex' object at all though to a great many she is just that. She is beautiful beyond comprehension in photos and in person, but her personality is just great, and pleases me greatly. I place her on the list of people I'd like to be stranded on an island with if there's a nuclear holocaust and mankind will not reproduce ever, just for her good company (and she can join my girlfriend, for there would be no competition.)

Rita does not compete, even if she sucks the feminine air out of the room sometimes with her overt femininity but she's also brilliant, an overlooked fact and going for or has her second graduate degree I think. (no fool she).

Yes, it is what you say it is, and beautiful and she is entirely feminne and sexy beyond belief, but I do not find this photo sexy at all, and just beautiful with lines, shadows, form and composition.

I like this among the best of the photos I've taken, in part for the subtlety of the breast/nipple and how it is not emphasized and how one has to 'discover' it somewhat amidst the tonalities.

This, to me, is fine art with the nude as a model.

It took about two minutes to set up and take amidst another shoot, 'just for fun' because Rita is game for anything (and her breast/nipple combination as near to perfect as anything I've ever seen.)

I respect your judgment greatly about this particular photo.
