cmouli 0 Posted March 24, 2009 It is a nice shot. I agree with you that taking sharp pictures of flying birds is a challenge - requiring immense patience and skills. Not sure if you used shutter priority - but generally going as fast as you can on the shutter speed helps. Spending some time to watch bird movements and approximate distance to expect will allow you to adjust focusing in advance. Having a remote release greatly helps. If your camera/sensor allows you to go up higher in ISO, you should. However, you have to watch out for increase in noise. Link to comment
