dacamera 0 Posted March 21, 2009 I must give a big thank you to the person who trawled through three days worth of pictures to give this image an anonymous three. You must be very dedicated and have very little else in your life. LANDSEER. Whilst I was investigating this scene it started to rain very heavily. I rushed into the remains to take shelter and was soon joined by a shooting party with the same idea. The Ghillie told me that this Lodge was regularly used by the artist Sir Edwin Henry Landseer (1802-1873), whose most famous works are the painting 'Monarch of the Glen' and the sculpted lions in London's Trafalgar Square. whatmaycome14 0 Posted March 21, 2009 So much of photography is being in the right place at the right time! However, not everybody has the talent or experience to produce such a stunning image even if they have the opportunity. This is a great capture! Everything flows so well. Link to comment

younes 0 Posted March 24, 2009 First, I have a question: do you have a subscription for a rainbow service? It seems that half your shots have one :). As for the picture, well it's another Butterworth Stunning Production: great scenery, great comp, great light. Flawless work! Last but not least: don't these suckers who give you anonymous 3 or 4 three to four days too late just irk the $h..t out of you?? Link to comment

dallalb 0 Posted March 24, 2009 What can I say? Another masterpiece! Light, mood, atmosphere, composition, exposure: all perfect! I wish I was here with you, to enjoy the warm light, the silence, the smell of this wonderful place after the rain. Congratulations and my not-anonymous 7/7! All the best, Alberto. Link to comment
lonebearimages 0 Posted March 24, 2009 This is absolutely stunningly awesome! A real treat to view and savor! Just a sterling composition and exposure. I'm with Younes, somehow you have managed to corner the market on rainbows. I am beginning to believe that the real pot-o-gold lies in Scotland and not the Emerald Isle. Beautiful work, my friend! Cheers! Chris Link to comment

timzeipekis 5 Posted March 24, 2009 Not only do I envy your photographic talent, but your ability to be in the right place at the right time! This is an amazing photograph! 7/7 for sure! Link to comment
cl5 0 Posted March 26, 2009 Spectacular light and a very strong composition, Simon. The rainbow and dappled light on the background hills is lovely, but the image sets itself apart with that wonderful light on the house and the reflecting path going off into the distance. There are a lot of elements here, but they work together beautifully and make this a most successful photograph! Link to comment
