someoneelse 1 Posted March 22, 2009 Thank you all for comments, and Cowboy I had a BIG laugh about the tarantula, and dear Kaushik I am doing very good, I am at the moment busy whit other creative things, and the most important thing is a new camera, the other one didn't work good anymore, and I am very happy with it, so I will be shooting and soon publishing with love Els Link to comment
hansio 0 Posted March 23, 2009 Alright.. is a good choice. And now, start shooting in RAW, or as Nikon names it, NEF. When after the monitor and 'devolping' your images, the real fun starts. Have that fun and make smashing pic's. Gerdenian Regards from Hungary. Link to comment
alones 1 Posted March 23, 2009 Beautifully composed with great colors , A fishy abstract Link to comment
someoneelse 1 Posted March 23, 2009 Dear Hansio oooooooooooo, I did shoot with a Nikon D70 and now with a D90, so I already did know that..... but thanks anyway, and greetings from rainy Leeuwarden Thanks Allon and Jef for your comment Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted March 23, 2009 Great color scheme. The off-kilter composition creates some disorientation, making this an unsettling, but beautiful statement. Link to comment
someoneelse 1 Posted March 23, 2009 1. off-kilter slightly un-straight, to be of-kilter is to at an angle, can be used to describe a feeling but was designed to describe the state of such objects as furniture, and other such structures 2. off-kilter the state of being wierd. often the result of staying up extremely late. activities include: watching educational programming, smoking many cigarettes, and having random dance parties Hi Jeff I didn't know what off-kilter did mean, so I googled it, and you are familiar with my work (I think) so you know me a little bit (and explenation nr.2 is not so far from me ;D ) Link to comment
katzpjs 50 Posted March 23, 2009 It is both your images and yourself that make your portfolio interesting and I don't expect either to ever change. You do always find an exciting way to photograph fish! Link to comment
amalsircar 2 Posted March 23, 2009 Els, you have fished a precious camera and the real ones. Composition ,exposure ,details and caption are very good.Three cheers for your D90. How do you know that they have gone to heaven? Have you received any SMSl from them? But I can assure you that I shall feel ,as if in heaven, with fish- & Chips:-) Link to comment
someoneelse 1 Posted March 23, 2009 I could say the same about you Shawn.... thankssssssssss Amal, thanks for the attention, your beautifull comment as always, and the 3 fish-eyes, and why I did call it 7 I am in heaven, I have no idea, it just popped up, 7 eyes, and I always say to my lover Rycho as the word seven falls I am in heaven, perhaps I like to rhyme, but more probably I am weird with love Els Link to comment
